Clothing Swap PHX

This video is a behind the scenes look at our most recent event, the Spring Clothing Swap PHX produced by Christian Caballero and his team at Dream Arc Productions. The Clothing Swap is a seasonal clothing swap, clothing drive and community building event hosted by CO-OPhx.

A clothing swap co-op is exactly what it sounds like; come swap your once-loved, still awesome swag for some new threads. Set up boutique-style, the swap is a unique opportunity to come together, share your style and clear your closet.

► How does it work?

  1. Checkin with up to 10, once-loved, still awesome items to swap (clothing, shoes or accessories). What you give is what you receive so if you bring 10 items, you can swap for 10. You will receive a “Swap Card” where the # of items will be recorded along with two “Clothing Memory Tags” (see bottom for details). checkin
  2. Bring unlimited items in any condition to donate. 100% will be reused or recycled through ClothingCycle and .15c/lb will go towards a local charity. Donated items include clothing, shoes, towels, sheets etc. The charities we’ve partnered with have been Big Brothers, Big Sisters, Sojourner Women’s Center, Fresh Start Women’s Foundation, CollegetownASU and the International Rescue Committee. clothingcycle
  3. After you checkin and drop-off, we will set up the Clothing Swap while you enjoy mingling with new friends and the rest of the activities incl. DIY (do-it-yourself) workshops, style tutorials and pop-up shops.
  4. SWAP TIL YOU DROP! Pick out the same of items that you brought and try them on in the dressing rooms. When you’re all set.  the same amount of items
